When asked, the bartender will tell you that Demolition is a strong pale ale, but not necessarily an IPA. But on the tongue the hops are more than sufficient to kick this into IPA territory. The ale is clear bronze with a flush of mahogany and sports showy lace and a thin film of head. The mouthfeel brings a satisfying quench to the throat.
Demolition has a cannabis themed aroma, but it's more leaf than bud. The same holds true with the flavor, which forms on a strong backbone of bittering. The overriding characteristic in Demo is one of dank, earthy leafiness. It tastes nearly like autumn smells and reminds me somewhat of Black Raven's Trickster IPA. Punky and ripe in the best sense of it, and highly repeatable.

Poured nice out of the bottle, good finger of creamy head with decent retention. It's noted as an organic IPA, and you could see some floaters. Aroma was not powerful, but okay. Taste was pleasant with a solid malt backbone and balanced but timid hoppiness. Feel was medium-bodied and fairly easy going down. Overall, this was a decent IPA but not among the heavyweights in its class.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a medium to dark coppery amber with a fine two finger white head with good retention and lots of lacing. Aroma of caramel malt with grassy, lightly piney hops. Flavor follows aroma with mellow caramel malt, citrus, piney and lightly dank and grassy hops, finishing with long lingering piney, citrus and dank hop bitterness and a pleasant supporting flavor of the malt. Medium bodied with light creaminess, good mouth feel. A nicely balanced and flavorful IPA, probably leaning more in the direction of an imperial at this ABV, and robust enough to qualify. Although the hops were not as distinctive as other regional IPAs, I really liked the malt in this one, it was flavorful while not being intrusive. Well done. Never had this at the brewhouse and glad to have it finally bottled.

Served in straight pint glass. Poured a very clean, clear golden amber color with about 1/4 inch of just off-white head with very good retention and lacing.
A very big, bold hop aroma hits you straight in the nose and had a solid malt foundation. The taste was also very hop forward with a nice amount of balancing malts.
The body was a bit thinner than I would have liked, but was still fairly substantial. Drinkability is excellent, I've had this beer repeatedly over the last few years and have always enjoyed it.
Overall, one of my favorite regional beers. certainly worth seeking out if you're in the Puget Sound area, whether as a resident or visiting.

A: Poured a lighter coppr color with good carbonation topped off by a dirty white head
S: Floral and fruit
T: Had some floral notes, caramel, and a hint at juicy fruit gum at times, fruit bursts were nice.
M: Well carbonated, nice bittering on the end, sordove sticky
D: A good IPA with above average drinkability. Try it sometime.
