This is another one of these low-alcohol high-fruit concoctions that are appearing more lately. In this case the base is supposedly a hefeweizen, though it could be apple juice for all the difference. But the stuff does taste highly citrusy, and even like grapefruit without the bitterness. There is just a tang of bitter peel but mostly it's quite sweet, especially for the low ABV. It's nicely carbonated and makes a pleasant juice drink, though I wouldn't say it tastes anything like a beer. But it's summer, enjoy! From the 16 oz can purchased at Trader Joe's, and brewed by Gordon Biersch.
