On tap at La Mare au Diable.
Dark orange brew, slightly hazy with a white head that lasted until I was about halfway through the pint.
Grainy, malty aroma with grapefruit and resinous hops.
Lots of sugary caramel notes followed by a big citrus bite. Slight tartness before the finish. Alcohol is far in the background but does have a warming effect. Body is full and carbonation is moderate.
Very enjoyable but the 8% abv sneaks up on you. La Mare au Diable has been trying some new things lately, and this beer is definitely heading in the right direction.

Lots of lacing coating the glass. Aroma of green hops. Taste is a bit empty to be honest. A bit of orange zest but bitterness is not backed up by much flavor. One strong point is the ABV is barely noticeable but still quite far from a quality DIPA...let alone an IPA.
