From the 16 oz can in a snifter. This decent little imperial ipa pours a
lightly cloudy medium yellow amber with a nice head of white foam that
settles to a thick ring and fat layer with some nice lacing. Nose of orange zest, lemon,
zest, light caramel, cracker, and light vanilla. Flavors expand nicely on the nose with
light cracker, light wheat, caramel, light vanilla, subtle cream, lemon grass, heavy
herbal hops, orange zest, and grapefruit. Mouth feel is medium, medium carbonation,
lightly creamy, and finishing with a lightly abrasive bitter hop note.
Overall, a decent little imperial.
Cheers

Pours a dark amber color with a thick white head on top. Has a hoppy and little Debbie Christmas tree smell. Light hop and malt taste with a sweet aftertaste.

At my lady Pamela's house; canned and chilled, 473mL in a pint glass. From Allen's Supermarket here in McGregor, Ontario. Canned August 21/25. My 27th beer from the Barrie, Ontario brewery, and 5th for 2026. Exquisitely embraced by Sundae the cat...

Very sharp mouth feel. Does taste like cupcake. Probably not a good option for beer. Has bitter taste. Strange aftertaste.

Very aromatic, very hazy, very yummy. Was attracted by the fun can design...was sold by the solid beverage it contains ... Thumbs up!

Appearance - Pours a cloudy peach nectar orange with two fingers of frothy white head.
Smell - Tropical fruity hops (mango, pineapple, passionfruit), citrus hops (orange, grapefruit), bready wheat malts, vanilla buttercream or custard, slight leafiness. It smells reminiscent of an orange creamsicle.
Taste - Bitter tropical and citrus fruit hops, followed by the wheaty malts, along with mild vanilla sweetness of icing/custard.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Dry and sticky finish.
Overall - Despite the cutesy "cupcake panda" name, this one is definitely a hop "killer". Don't let the aroma fool you, as this beer is more bitter than what it leads you to believe. I wish I could get more pandan, but I honestly have never had pandan, so maybe it is present and I'm just mistaking it for something else.

I got a can of this beer from a beer store in Sault Ste Marie whilst there for my son's hockey tournament. It poured a hazy orangish with white head that is leaving a nice lace. The scent had orange creamsicle notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with vanilla and white cake presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body with good carbonation. Overall its a good beer.
