A Grand rhapsody? Lets see how if is Bohemian shall we? As always a wild can art display greets you. Poured a Tall can into a tulip. Offers sunset orange pour with small collar. Nose is forward pineapple from can crack balanced with grape, light sweet pines. Taste is smooth, quite sweet with orange front and light finish. Overall feel is weak however with minimal body and effervescence. Fine for burgers with friends but not one of their best.

Poured from a 16 oz. can. Has a golden color with a 1 inch head. Smell is dominated by pineapple. Taste is also heavy on the pineapple, little else is present, mild to moderate bitterness. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a decent beer.

can - pours a cloudy pale gold with a 2 finger white caps...soft aromas of floral-pine-exotic fruit, malt and melon....flavor is complex with fruits, pineapple, malts and cider like tones, light fruity sweetness...the finish has bittering show up and a long smooth fruity glide to the end with some warming....very decent flavored summer IPA for sipping ...still robust, flavorful and satisfying...not a hint of the ABV it has.

Look: Hazy pale yellow with orange highlights. Pours with a dense finger of bright white head. The head has good retention. After 5 minutes it provides a 1/3 finger of solid cover across the top.
Smell: Pineapple and various citrus fruits.
Taste: Dominated by pineapple juice flavours. Definately sweet pineapple juice forward and not the more earthy rind type pineapple flavouring some beers offer. A spritzer minerally quality on the back end of the sip. The hops are pretty muted for an IPA.
Feel: Medium to full bodied. Plays on the sides of mouth and top of the palate, as well as at the back of the tongue. There is an acidic snap at the end, which isn't a surprise given the pineapple.
This beer is a pineapple bomb, exactly as advertised. Flying Monkeys typically deliver the goods when it comes to flavour profiles. They are not subtle about it, and I appreciate that. The Pineapple juiciness' takes away from the other IPA flavours though. I love pineapple, so it earns a B.

The pour worried me as the colour is this weird orange and screamed malt. The nose was strong champagne and I don't like champagne. But this disappears and the hops come through.
The taste, which is what we are really here for, was surprising. In a good way. Not really tart at all, even with the pineapple, as the malt and hops balance things off. Boozy taste as well. I think I like this one.

Pours hazy gold with a small cap that drapes the glass in lace. Pineapple and grapefruit mixed with bready malts and faint diacetyl in the nose. Pineapple juice, lemon hops, caramel, booziness, light buttery diacetyl in the taste. Light bodied with low carbonation levels. Light bitterness and some lingering pineapple in the short finish.
An OK DIPA but the hops are too anemic and the yeast profile isn't neutral enough.

473 ml can served cold into a tulip. LCBO purchase for $3.95 CDN. Listed as a Pineapple Double IPA. Canned March 11, 2021.
Appearance - Semi hazy rich dark golden colored brew with two fingers of decadent and fluffy white head. Lots of spidery lacing to be found as well.
Smell - Lots of pineapple for sure, slight booziness and other sweet aromas.
Taste - Pineapple, middling bitterness. Slight bit of booziness. Not a lot in bitterness just at the end
Mouthfeel - Fairly full bodied, modest carbonation and juicy finish.
Overall - More fruit beer than IPA, although the bitterness keeps things just restrained enough. Gets better as it warms.
