Pours a medium dark yellow with a medium white head on top. Strong hop smell with a hint of vanilla. Hop forward with a sweet malty finish at the end.

Poured from a can into a snifter
Appearance – the beer pours a clear golden-orange color with a one finger head of just off-white foam. The head has a fantastic level of retention, fading slowly and leaving tons of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is rather odd, being a mix of some bready malt and notes of orange and tangerine, along with a rather diesel and very boozy smell. Mixed with these are notes of cream and some light bits of grapefruit, along with a decent showing of a herbal hop smell.
Taste – The taste begins with a somewhat sharp tangerine and orange taste mixed with a strong showing of alcohol and notes of a dense bready and cracker malt. Other flavors of vanilla and notes of a medicinal astringency are there as well, with the later getting a bit more intense over time as even more booziness comes onto the scene. All the while as eth taste transitions, some more sweetness of a somewhat artificial citrus and peach sweetness joins in, with a bit of a marmalade and apricot jam developing as well. The mix of flavors takes the taste to its end, leaving one with a somewhat artificial and boozy, but oddly enjoyable taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body is on the thicker and chewier side with a more moderate carbonation level.
Overall – Its odd. It is sort of hot and gross, but there is also something very appealing about the flavor and the feel. Not sure what to make of it. I wouldn’t likely do it again, except for maybe on a rare occasion. That said, I certainly am glad I tried it.

1 US pint poured into tulip glass. Little to no lacing as expected for beer with such high abv. Color is hazy orange gold. Smells of citris, grapefruit. Taste of orange and mandarin with a dry and slight astringent finish, also quite bitter without much hop taste. The alcohol content is very much present in the taste. Not getting much creamiscle or vanilla taste but the warmness is there. Would I buy this again? Perhaps once in an occasion thing.

16oz can, wrap label. Bottom date stamp is off center but what is readable shows 'JUL/?/25'.
Cloudy, pale gold colored body with an orangish tint. One finger of off white head, and this settles for the long term as a full cap and ring. Leaves behind lacing webs.
Aroma of citrus orange, and a bit of vanilla.
Taste is citrus orange, vanilla, and a whole lot of booziness. Sweet but with a slight burn and vapors. Alcohol combines with citrus peel to create a bit of bitterness. Aftertaste continues with the main flavors and a lip curling level of ABV%.
More than medium mouthfeel. Sweetness struggles to survive against the heavy alcohol presence. Very good carbonation.
High level of alcohol precludes anything but sipping, with actual breaks necessary between sips.

Look: Pours a bright clear gold with minor orange hues. The head starts off one and a half fingers of tightly grouped small white bubbles on a aggressive pour. After 5 minutes the head has pulled back into a 1/4 finger covering across the entire top of the glass, with decent lacing.
Smell: Oranges and tangerines dominate, with a slight dry grass backbone. The smell is more subtle then expected for such a boozy beer.
Taste: Not surprisingly a ton of citrus up front. Oranges, Grapefruit, Liche all noted. The mid to end sip is rather sharp and pungent. Some dry wheat grass notes in the middle and end of each sip. This beer is sold as an Orange Cremesicle experience. I didn't get any vanilla flavours at all until the beer started to warm up. The orange blast and grapefruit bitterness doesn't leave much room for anything else.
Feel: Low carbonation, very syrupy and puckering from mid sip till the end. Strong bitterness, making me weary of upcoming heartburn.
Twelve Monkeys always delivers flavourful, albeit somewhat synthetic tasting beers. I always get the impression they go hard on the adjuncts. Every 12 Monkeys is an adventure. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. This beer is a no go for me. There was no creme in this creamsicle. I give it a C+

At my lady Pamela's house; canned and chilled, from my favourite LCBO at The Roundhouse Centre in nearby Windsor. My eighth beer from the Barrie, Ontario brewery.

Let's not kid ourselves. This cartoon apparition of a brew was created for the purposes of getting smashed. So, it is strong in the IPA, quadruple IPA, whatever that actually means. But really, you are using this as a beer-related vehicle that is preferable to doing shots, but is actually like doing 4 shots given the volume involved. I don't mind this one. The drawing is ridiculous on the can, but it serves it's purpose. The afternoon is a haze and I am one day closer. So, let's not dwell on this one. It is beer for people who don't like doing shooters, but have a carnival-like sense of humour.
