473ml cans served cold into a pint glass. Part of the Flying Monkeys seasonal 4 pack of IPAs. Canned in early November 2023.
Appearance - Semi hazy, light golden color with some amber hues mixed in. A couple of fingers of loose white head stick around for a little while.
Smell - Big citrus punch, with lots of orange and some grapefruit notes. Somewhat malty background.
Taste - Medium bitterness transitioning into considerable bitterness, with fruity accents coming off all that. Grapefruit and orange the predominant players here with a touch of overripe mango mixed in. ABV is a bit noticeable here.
Mouthfeel - Medium-full bodied with considerable fizziness. Semi-dry finish.
Overall - Probably one of the most traditional of the IPA's in the 4 pack, it didn't stand out, but was probably the one most likely to be revisited.
