Cask at Session 99
Brown/Black, tan soapy head, touches of lace coat the glass. Smell is of cocoa, roast malt, vanilla, marshmallow, light sweet sugary notes, touch of bittersweet chocolate. Taste is marshmallow up front, light traces of coffee, chocolate, light alcohol, vanilla and overall full of flavour, marzipan is there as a buddy pointed out. Good feel for a cask stout, medium body, syrupy at points. One of my favourites of the day, very nice stuff, this brewery is going to be unstoppable in the near future.
