FM Tap takever at Bar Volo. Roast aroma. Black with retained head of 3/16". Thick lace lines. Dry finish, just short of acidic. Smooth mouthfeel. Aromas of licorice and chocolate. Not very sophisticated, but solid for the style. Clear winner today.

On tap at Volo during Flying Monkeys tap takeover.
Beer is black with almost no head.
Smell is light. Oats, malty scents, some liquorice. Nice but not strong.
Flavour consists of oatmeal, booze and black liquorice. Slightly bitter. Not a complex flavour but a nice one.
Full bodied, moderate carbonation. Good.
Overall, pretty good. Not super exciting but quite an enjoyable beer.
