Had on cask at Brothers Beer Bistro. seemed too different from Netherworld to warrant a review under the non-vanilla beaned version. From notes.
A - Poured black with two fingers of loose beige head. Mild carbonation, spotty lace and a film of retention.
S - Hops were very strong lot's of C hop and citrus. A little vanilla and roast. Much more vanilla as it warmed.
T - Way more vanilla in the flavour. Subtler hop flavour and some good roast. Good balance and a nice roast element.
M - Soft carbonation, light body, mild but nice bitterness. Pleasant style for cask.
O/D - Nice vanilla addition. It definitely added a nice element that integrated well and added a certain degree of sweetness that worked well with the black IPA base. I enjoyed it.
