The beer pours an amber color with a thick frothy offwhite head that slowly fades to lacing. The aroma is good. It has a dry, crystal malt scent along with quite a bitter hop nose. The taste is good as well. It has a typical ESB flavor profile. It's dry with a nice crystal malt character and a large hop bitterness. It's crisp and highly drinkable. The mouthfeel is fine. It is a low/medium bodied beer with adequate carbonation. This is a welcome new addition to their lineup. Doug seems to be hopping up the beers a bit lately.
