Saison. Poured from tap at the Brewery about an hour ago into a clean, clear glass. 5.2% ABV

A Basic: light yellow body with minimal head. No frills look really.

S Sweet, minimal malt. Not much else. Nice and inviting.

T Sweet wheat taste and very agreeable, demanded my attention to drink more of it.

M Appropriately light mouthfeel but it has some depth to it at the same time. Really nice. Not as good as Great Lakes Hale Ale (brewed within 5 miles of this brewery) which is also a saison but a solid effort none the less.

D Excellent. Cannot be improved on. I could drink 5 or 6 of these easily.

Notes: My favorite of the Cleveland ChopHouse.

(Served in an American pint glass)

A- This beer has a slight hazy yellow body with a gentle carbonation of tiny bubbles and a thin snow white head that last a bit but sticks to the glass for the entire beer.

S- There is a soft smell of yeasty perfume but the smell is pretty clean over all.

T- The light wheat bread flavor has some slight white sugar notes to it with a sweetness. There is a soft green bite to it that doesn't have much hop flavor just bitterness. There is a very faint pepper note to the hops that comes through when it is warm. When it is warm there is also a very light pale malt note with the bread flavors.

M- This beer has a medium mouthfeel

D- This beer has a smooth fruity quality to the malt and that makes it pretty drinkable but it is more like a Belgian Pale ale with not much depth.
