Here is the first beer in quite some time to make me go "wow". A truly unique and spicy beer.

Beer is golden colored and super clear which makes me think it might be filtered as rye beers are often cloudy. Aroma is floral and spicy. When the beer hits your tongue it rings a loud bell of spice and hops. Not to say it is too hoppy. Menu lists 40 ibu's, but being on the lighter side the hops and rye malt shine with the standard malt taking a passenger seat.

Mouthfeel is a bit slippery as is the case with many rye beers (and this one lists a 30% rye grainbill). However the beer finishes so crisp and dry it makes you think of a cool summer evening on a lake up north.
