The colour is dark red copper. The pale beige foam is large, compact and sinks down slowly to a finger thick lid.
The smell is sweet with some malt. Some notes of rye bread and yeast are present. It is somewhat musty.
The carbonation is medium strong with small tickling bubbles.
The taste is mild, sweet, and malty with a quite weak body. A fine note of dark rye bread (pumpernickel) and herbs is finished with a fresh bitterness from the hops.
Nice, but overall quite weak.
