A pale yellow clear beer with hints of brown, the head is very small and off-white, no lacing.

The smell is vaguely that of a can of sausages being opened 30 feet away, i.e. weakly boiled meat.

The taste is that of diet crackers, a bit of acidity, boiled sausage and a very weak bitterness.

Medium high carbonation, watery, feels somewhat like a diet soda.

No - there are low alcohol beers that perform better than this one.

Poured - the same as the see-through bottle let you believe - yellow. It had a white foamy head that lasted a little while - not long though.
The smell was almost non-existant.It was not "skunked", but still had an "off" smell - like some corn and overboiled hops or something.
The taste was bad - didn't taste like beer. Left a slightly metallic taste. Other than that - there was simply no taste.
This was one of the worst beers I've ever tasted.
A friend brought it back from a recent trip to Sweden. Fortunately, he brought back better ones as well.

The colour is pale yellow with a tint of gold. The head is white and quite low. Some lacing occurs.

The smell is extremely weak. After some hardcore sniffing, I found some notes of pulp and maybe some buttery bitterness. Failed!

The taste is very watery. There are notes of wet paper and… Well, that’s about it. The aftertaste is also watery with very weak notes of chemical hop-like flavours and some honey.

The carbonation is a bit sharp. Medium sized bubbles.

The first Swedish “Low carb” beer with the catchphrase “Fresh clean taste – 50% less carbohydrates!”. The result is… More watery than many of the 2.8% ABV lagers that are popular in Sweden. Rubbish!

Pripps Blå Pure is a low-carb lager competing with such global giants as Miller Light, Budweiser Light, Corona and Sol. Tfter the discovery of GI this is one of the fastest growing segments in the beer market today. Yes, this is a diet kind of beer. By it’s name one can make the conclusion that it’s a de-carbed version of the old Swedish classic Pripps Blå (bring the old label back!).

Pripps Blå Pure is light yellow in color and pours with a little foam, smelling of flowers and bubblegum. The taste is rather fruity with some hops and sourness in the background. Too carbonated for my taste. The mouthfeel, I’m sad to report, is thin and watery but there is plenty of bubbles. It’s the kind of beer you chill, pop open and gobble down. Still, if you’re on a diet- it’s beer!
