The colour is medium brown, the tree finger head is warm white. It sinks slowly leaving lots of thick lacing.
The smell is sour-bitter with some roasted malts, some caramel and a somewhat frowsy sweetness.
The taste is malty with some lightly earthy - woody notes. Some light clean bitter notes. Lightly roasted notes of nuts and a hint of chocolate. The aftertaste is sweet with nutty flavours and a hint of paper. The finish is somewhat sweet with some creamy-malty notes.
The carbonation is medium strong with lots of small creamy notes. The liquid is semi-smooth.
An average lighter Dunkel.

The beer is clear orange-tinted brown with an off-white head, that settles with a noticeable lacing.
The smell is very weak, some corn sweetness, a slightly metallic sourness.
Upfront a white sugar sweetness, some bread, a hint of sour pear and a modest bitterness.
Medium high carbonation, soft and foamy, a light dry finish.
A rather uninteresting brew.
