Very pretty amber red color with small cap and lacing.
Aroma of ripe blackberry which comes across as surprisingly tart for such a sweet fruit.
Taste is straight forward tart ripe blackberry which is pretty much on the mark for those who have access to the fruit in the wild. Most blackberry flavors are sweet but the wild examples can be somewhat tart depending on the soil. Otherwise it's a lighter style of brew that serves as a carrier for the blackberry berries.
Light texture with balancing carbonation.
Overall it's an interesting take on the blackberry theme that comes across fairly well. Not really a food match or a Summery Shandy, rather a take on the tart theme.
