473 mL can purchased at Superstore, the last of four 'mystery IPAs' included in their Vol. 2 Mystery Pack. Dated Oct 15 2020 and served slightly chilled.

Pours a foggy golden-apricot colour, producing one centimetre of tight, foamy white head that seeps off within several minutes' time. A modest amount of lacing is flung about in its wake as it's reduced to a bubbly collar and filmy thin cap - looks good to me. Grapefruit and orange citrus on the nose, with hints of stone fruit, wheaty grain and grassiness.

A pleasantly fruity session IPA - flavours of mandarin orange and stone fruit at the forefront, followed by pink grapefruit and passion fruit, all atop a grainy, wheaty pale malt backdrop. Hints of citrus peel, apricot and grassy, spicy hops towards the finish, dissipating into a citrusy aftertaste with relatively low bitterness. Light in body with very expressive carbonation that prickles the palate relentlessly, scrubbing it clean with each sip - very crisp and quite refreshing. I liked this more than I like most session IPAs.

Final Grade: 3.78, a B+. I liked Mystery Beer D more than C or B, but deciding between A and D was a fair bit tougher. I'm going to give the edge to D on a technicality: this one is at least more flavourful than average for a session IPA, whereas A was basically just a bog-standard hazy IPA. Glad I didn't miss out on the chance to try this mixed pack and vote for a winner, even though I honestly don't think any of these beers were better than Nickel Brook's existing library of solid IPAs, e.g. Head Stock, Wicked Awesome, Immodest, Metalhead, et al.
