473ml can served cold into a pint glass. Cost was around $3.50 CDN from the LCBO. Canned April 24, 2023.
Appearance - Hazy, bright golden color with a couple fingers of dense and fluffy white head. Very good head retention and spidery lacing left behind after the head recedes every so slowly.
Smell - Light tropical notes, whipped frosting and kiwi are noticeable and possibly some bubblegum. Quite sweet but also still fruity.
Taste - Kiwi with strawberries maybe, some added sweetness and the mildest orange creamsicle sensation behind that. Jam packed with flavor for a session IPA.
Mouthfeel - Medium-light bodied with lots of carbonation, slightly cream with a prickly finish.
Overall - As far as session IPA's goes, this is pretty top notch. A rare session IPA I could see myself going back to again.

Pours cloudy straw with a frothy head that lasts forever. The aroma is pithy tropical mops - mango, pineapple, lemon, papaya. The taste follows suit with a big tropical hop profile. The mouthfeel is full bodied with lots of carbonation. Medium bitterness and loads of fruity hop flavor in the long finish. Light bready malts throughout.
A dank session IPA with loads of tropical NZ hop goodness. Worth a try.

473 mL can from the LCBO; dated Apr 24 2023 and served slightly chilled.
Pours a hazy, translucent golden-yellow colour, topped with roughly one finger of bubbly, soapy white head that recedes within a matter of minutes. A modest swath of arcing lace clings to the perimeter of the glass, with a tight collar and filmy cap upon the surface. Fruity aroma that includes hints of orange, grapefruit, honeydew melon and peach, with minor notes of grape, kiwi and minty, herbal hops.
The flavour profile is similar - white grape and kiwi right off the bat, with grapefruit, melon and peach close behind. There are hints of wheat/pale malt sweetness, but the NZ hops are pretty dominant throughout. Finishes with a flash of floral, woodsy hops and light resinous bitterness; these linger into a grassy aftertaste with hints of citrus pith & kiwi. Medium-light in body, with lively carbonation that adds a crisp bite to this light pale ale's soft, smooth mouthfeel - this one has serious potential as a summer session option.
Final Grade: 4.04, an A-. Nickel Brook's Chilly Tins does an admirable job of showing off its trio of NZ hops: the Nelson Sauvin really shines through with its kiwi/gooseberry notes, while the Waimea adds plenty of citrus, as well as a resiny, woodsy bitterness that completes the experience. As a bonus, the Sabro hops do not impart that telltale coconut note (which I really don't care for). A fine session ale that I plan to return to repeatedly over the course of this summer.
