At my lady Pamela's house; canned and chilled, 473mL in a pint glass. From my favourite LCBO at Tecumseh Mall in nearby Windsor. Canned May 29/25. My 15th beer from the Burlington, Ontario brewery, and 2nd for 2026. Audaciously adored by Sundae the cat...

Pours just over an inch of foam. Light gold color. Smells of those lime flavored tortilla chips.
I'll give it a fair taste.
So, I've had more than a few of these cerveza or lime flavored Mexican beers by now and this one isn't in the top percentile.
I'm getting a lot that artificial lime spice dust from those tortilla chips alongside some of that artificial lime juice concentrate you see at the store. Not much grain taste at all.
So I've actually squirted real lime in beers before (mostly for the girlies, I swear) and this isn't really the same " Natural Lime Taste" that i know.
Nickel Brook makes a killer IPA and some other beers that are great but whatever this lime flavored drink is, it's not working for me at all.
Won't get this one again and on I'm to the next one.

473ml can served cold into a pint glass. LCBO purchase for around $3.50 CDN. Canned June 19, 2025.
Appearance - Hazy golden color with a finger and a half of sparkling white head. pRetty solid retention and even a bit of curtain style lacing.
Smell - Light and grainy with bready aromatics and a pinch of lime.
Taste - Very light, some graininess with a healthy dose of lime.
Mouthfeel - LIght bodied, fizzy and quite quaffale. Works nicely with spicy food.
Overall - A quality light lager with a healthy and refreshing but not overdone dose of lime.

473 mL can from the LCBO; dated Mar 27 2025 and served slightly chilled.
Pours a cloudy straw yellow colour, capped with just over an inch of smooth, foamy white head that melts away over the next couple of minutes. A narrow band of lace adheres to the glass, with a tight collar and a filmy cap remaining on the surface; it's a visually attractive lager. Lime zest and corn chips on the nose, with a whiff of doughy, grainy malts.
It's an acceptable summer thirst quencher with no real surprises. Lime juice right off the bat, backed by clean, grainy malts and corn chip sweetness; lime zest comes through at the finish, persisting briefly into a citrusy aftertaste. Light in body, with moderate carbonation that adds some bite to this lager's smooth mouthfeel; effortlessly easy to slog back.
Final Grade: 3.54, a B grade. Nickel Brook's Vamonos! is your basic light lime lager - nothing to write home about, to be sure, but still a couple of steps ahead of the Bud Light Limes of the world. In hot summer weather, I would definitely take this over their Easy Going Lager, and if you have any interest in Mexican and/or lime lagers then this is worth keeping an eye out for. Cheers!
