355 mL can from the LCBO; dated Mar 11 2026 and served barely chilled.
Pours a hazy pale straw colour, featuring one finger of loose, sudsy white head that collapses within a couple of minutes. A frothy collar and thin cap live on, with a small amount of lace sticking to the glass. It smells of peach, citrus and wheat mash, with suggestions of melon.
A decent NA IPA, but it has a worty flavour that I found distracting. Oat gruel, wheat, peach and lemon water, finishing with citrus peel and wort-y sweetness that quickly fades into a watery aftertaste. Light in body, with middling carbonation that softly agitates the surface of the palate; it's thin, but otherwise refreshing, drinkable and mostly inoffensive.
Final Grade: 3.53, a B grade. Wicked Tame is definitely not the best NA IPA I've come across, but it's at least a passable effort that I wouldn't discourage other BAs from sampling. This one's biggest problem is that the hops just aren't able to overcome that base malt sweetness, which makes me feel like I'm drinking a NA blonde rather than an IPA. Not a brew I'm likely to revisit, but there are many worse choices in this category.

Their Wicked Awesome IPA is a really good one, so let's try their NON ALC version.
Pours a small amount of foam. Pale in color. Smells of citrus peel.
Tastes really good. Almost as good as the real thing.
This is probably one of the best NON ALC beer's I've had. Hoppy with citrus flavors. I don't taste as much quality cutting here compared to other NON ALC beers.
I will be buying this one again for sure when I'm cutting back on alcohol. Although it's not as good as the alcoholic version obviously, it's still good. Great job on the NON ALC IPA.
