We bring you a taste of Belgium with our newest summer creation, Nickel Brook Saison! This style originates from the farms of Belgium where it is served to refresh the workers as they toiled in the long, hot summer months in the fields.
We ferment our Saison warm which gives rise to many distinct fruity aromas. The initial malt flavor gives way to crisp, dry finish with a lingering spiciness which is result of traditional European hops. The result is a remarkably smooth, refreshing beer that anyone can enjoy in the hot summer months whether it is on the patio, at the cottage or whenever you feel the need for a uniquely flavourful brew!

On tap at BarHopBar. Pours a light colour, and a quick disappearing head. Very strong carbonation, and astringency, lessened by agitating the glass. Waiting for it to warm also improved the taste. Pepper mostly, and much malt to make it drinkable, though only a fair demonstration of the style. Needs more interesting spices, and more bold taste.
