330ml bottle - 'Witches & Trolls' - apparently made with a whack of different malts, and dry-hopped with some PACNW Amarillo and Cascade hops - so the 'saison-ish' subtitle makes more sense now.

This beer pours a slightly hazy, pale golden yellow colour, with three fingers of puffy, lightly foamy, and rather fizzy eggshell white head, which leaves a few instances of sudsy peninsular lace around the glass as it slowly and evenly subsides.

It smells of crackery and gritty pale malt, a touch of edgy alterna-grains, muddled zesty citrus fruit, coriander and white pepper spice, a well-behaved Belgian yeastiness, and more herbal, leafy, and floral hoppiness. The taste is bready and mildly doughy pale malt, a pithy and awkward sideshow graininess, some apple and still hard to differentiate citrus fruity notes, somewhat musty yeast, fading generic spice, and more leafy, grassy, and herbal green hop bitters.

The bubbles are fairly active in their supportive and often palate-tingling frothiness, the body a decent medium weight for the style, and more or less smooth, just a bit of polite yeast budging past, almost apologetically. It finishes off-dry, but not by much - the bitterness of the hops and the complex yeast pushing the muttish malt to the near-breaking point.

Overall, a pleasant and engaging Saison, with enough of the inherent attributes present to keep the guest New World hops in line. I think that I could very well enjoy another serving of this ('-ish').

Hazy peach color with slight off-white head. Aroma is quite spicy with coriander and some Brett like yeast notes. Taste is also yeasty, slighty spicy with some sweet wheat notes. Light to medium body with high carbonation. Overall it's an interesting yeast forward beer with a good drinkability.

L: Hazy golden color, one finger white head, amazing lacing, lots of carbonation.

S: Hoppy, citrusy, kind of medicine aroma.

T: Citrusy, hoppy, slightly bitter, a bit malty and more bitter on the back end.

F: Drinkable, refreshing during the hot Greek summer.

O: Nice, drinkable beer. Nothing spectacular but pretty decent nonetheless.
