Pucker Up! Acidulated malt provides a platform for cranberries, sour cherries and strawberries to produce a tart fruit ale that's dry, bubbly and eminently drinkable.

12 oz bottle from NC.
Pours with a rose tinted amber body with a modest size and rather weak white head. Minimal lacing.
Odd mix of vegetative notes and sweet fruits in the aroma. The flavor works much better, with cranberries, cherries and strawberries evident in a moderately tart mix.
Medium body and near medium carbonation with a dry finish.

A: Pours a relatively clear medium amber to copper in color with moderate to heavy amounts of active visible carbonation rising quickly from the bottom of the glass and faint to moderate rose colored highlights. The beer has a two finger tall fizzy foamy white head that reduces to a large patch of thin film covering the entire surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Moderate aromas of tart berries (cranberry, strawberry, and cherry) over the top of light to moderate aromas of slightly toasted bready malts + slightly sour wheat malts with minimal amounts of sweetness.

T: Upfront there are light to moderate flavors of slightly toasted bready malts + slightly sour wheat malts with minimal amounts of sweetness. That is followed by moderate flavors of tart berries (cranberry, strawberry, and cherry) with a hint of natural strawberry sweetness. Light amounts of lingering tartness in the finish.

M: Light to medium bodied with moderate to heavy amounts of carbonation. Crisp with a hint of acidic prickliness towards the finish.

O: Easy to drink with a well hidden alcohol and tart + refreshing. Enjoyable but nothing that I would go out of my way to find again - would be pretty great sitting out by the pool (missed opportunity for cans instead of bottles).
