Copenhagen 13/3 2015. 50 cl bottle from FaktaQuick. Label in Vestfyen's usual Willemoes brand design in a yellow version.
Pours light brown with an off-white head. Stable. Subsides gradually. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is slightly metallic with some malty sweetness peeking in from caramel, toffee and nuts.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is very sweet - more caramel there. There is a little bitterness in the aftertaste but not very prominent.
Some think that Easter beers ought to be sweet - I am not one of them.

Appearance: copper brown, good clarity, spongey layer of cream-colored foam, good head retention, lace
Aroma: speculoos-caramel, malt, touch of iron, hint of biscuits and hops
Flavor: smooth maltiness, biscuit malt, licorice, rust, touch of dark grains, herbal hop flavor, quite clean, finishes semi-dry with an aftertaste of malt and caramel, hop bitterness peaks out just before finish
Mouthfeel: medium body, gentle carbonation, soft texture, crisp
Other comments: Nice clean, malty Easter lager. Very drinkable. Not a wuss in the flavor department, either. When I wrote this review, the beer was place in the American Adjunct/Macro lager category. This MUST have been a mistake!
