Copenhagen 4/9 2015. 50 cl can from SuperBrugsen. Drawing of an anaemic man sitting by the stove. I assume it is the adventurer Johan Støckel that has given name to this mediocre beer series from Vestfyen. Not much adventuring sitting by the stove.

Pours clear dark brown with an off-white head. Bubbly. Dissipates to almost nothing quite quickly. No lacing.

Aroma is sweetish with some bitterness chiming in. Coffee, something burnt or roasted.

Soft carbonation. A bit watery. Almost flat texture.

Flavor is fairly sweet. Something chemical and a little unpleasant in the background. As I imagine cleaning utensils might taste.

Not as sweet as the name indicate. But pretty unpleasant nonetheless.

Pours a dark brown to black color with a light beige, fluffy big head.

Smells of cheap sweet chocolate and toffee, together with a roasty grain note.

Has a very pleasant smooth and soft mouthfeel, drinking way fuller than its abv would indicate.

Tastes of tart coffee with hints of red wood berries and a hint of caramel. Turns a little earthier during midpalate with its defining smooth creaminess and a fair amount of bakers chocolate. Finishes light and soft with a dried prunes sweetness and more bakers chocolate.

Turns a little thin during its finish, apart from that, this is very tasty, without turning overly sweet at all.
