Copenhagen 2/1 2021. 50 cl bottle from Lidl, Lygten, Kbh. NV. Simple design for Vestfyens Nordic Craft Beer brand in a light green version where I can understand that this is a refreshing, lager with a pleasant taste of Elderflower.
Pours unclear, golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Settles as a thin layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a malty sweet odor and some tart notes. Sweet pale malts. White sugar. Citrus and sour berries.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, watery, greasy, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by slightly more moderate sourness. Aftertaste is sourish with a sweetish undertone. Lingers shortly. Watery finish.
Strange timing of a “Spring Ale” in January - and a bit sweet and watery at that.

A: Pale golden, very opaque, small head which disappeared fairly quickly without leaving much lacing.
S: Lime cordial and coriander.
T Followed the nose, was quite sour but not in an overly offensive manner.
M: Medium body, low carbonation.
O: Felt and tasted like an ancient beer style, nice enough to want more.
