Copenhagen 7/12 201. 33 cl bottle from Netto, Utterslevvej, Kbh. NV. Red label in the usual Alfheim brand design.
Pours slightly unclear amber with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as a thin lyer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with a light citric sharpness. Sweet toasted malts, malt, brown sugar. A bit of citrus peeking in.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, oily, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undertone. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.
Not too horrible for a fairly cheap discount beer
