A classic porter with depth in both taste and aroma. The taste is complex, rich, sweet and malty at the same time. The beer has light toasted notes and a hint of licorice.

Copenhagen 6/1 2021. 50 cl bottle from Lidl, Lygten, Kbh. NV. Usual design for Vestfyns Nordic Craft Beer brand this time in a dark grey version.
Pours opaque, dark brown with a small light beige head. Settles as thin patch of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with a sweet candy-like odor mingling with sour and earthy scents. Caramel and toffee. Licorice. Sour grains. Tobacco, peat and wet soil.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, smooth, lightly tingling texture. A bit sticky.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly a stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undertone. Finish bitter licorice.
Bitter Imperial Stout laden with licorice.
