A mahogany-colored double bock, aged for 6 months. Added A.H.Riise's Christmas Rum to give the beer an extra spicy and warm experience. The rum perfectly complements the beer's sweet, malty taste and adds an enhanced aroma of toffee and spices.
Enjoy it before, during and after Christmas dinner. Merry Christmas.

Copenhagen 2/12 2019. 66 cl bottle from SuperBrugsen, Nordre Frihavnsgade, Kbh. Ø. Red label with drawings of powdered fellows with funny hats.
Pours clear, dark amber with a small white head. Bubbly. Disappears after 10 seconds. No lacing.
Aroma has a strong, sweet malty backbone, dark fermented fruit, spices and some boozy liquor. Sweet plum, sugar, caramel, cinnamon, cloves. Sweet liquor with hints of brandy.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, sticky texture.
Flavor is heavy sweet followed by a moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is very sweet with a prominent presence of alcohol. Light boozy burn. Burning sugar.
Very sweet and boozy take on the Christmas beer. I would say that three bottles should be sufficient to incapacitate anybody.
