HUMLEBY STOUT is a dark beer that smells toasty with notes of licorice and coffee and is especially known from traditional English pubs. The head is dense and high and the taste is a fine balance between dark chocolate, sweet malt and roasted notes.

Copenhagen 26/10 2019. 50 cl bottle from Aldi, Frederikssundsvej, Kbh. NV. Simple light brown label stating the brand and name of the beer. And the alluring tagline Intense and Creamy.
Pours opaque dark brown with medium-sized light beige head. Settles as thin, almost transparent layer of foam. Crawling up the sides of the glass.
Aroma is medium intense, sweet and lightly roasted. Caramel, lightly roasted dark malts, a little smoke, leather, tobacco. Sweet and pleasant.
Medium carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by a slightly more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter-sweet. Lingers for a while.
It may not exactly be Intense and Creamy. But it is a decent Stout from the local Aldi.
