Humleby IPA is brewed from a combination of Nordic malt and light caramel malt with fruity American hops. This combination gives the beer an aromatic and intense expression, which is balanced by the full and rich malt flavor.

Copenhagen 2/1 2020. 50 cl bottle from Aldi, Frederikssundsvej, Brønshøj. The usual Humleby design in light green. Tagline is “Fresh and Fruity”.
Pours slightly unclear, golden amber with a medium-sized white head. Settles as thin but consistent layer of foam covering the surface of the beer.
Aroma is medium-intense, sweet with lighter dry citric notes. Canned peach and pear. Pale malts and caramel. Orange and citrus fruit.
Medium carbonation. Thin, watery, tingling texture.
Flavor has a fairly strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is citric and bitter with a sweet undercurrent. Lingers for a while. Semi-dry finish.
Decent pale ale. A bit on the sweet side - and they should bother to get the exotic fruit out of the can.
