With malt at the center, we have carefully selected the Scarlett barley variety to create the framework for this tale of good brewing craftsmanship. The Scarlett malt is contrasted by two American hop types and our Moscaic-Simcoe IPA is a modern IPA with a bite that gives a breath of fresh air and gets the party started.

Copenhagen 4/10 2019. 50 cl bottle from SuperBrugsen, Brønshøj Torv, Brønshøj. White label with diagonal cross in burgundy. Gold letters reminding me that this is a 15 year anniversary they are celebrating.
Pours unclear dark amber with a big, fluffy white head. Settles as thin, a lost transparent layer of foam just managing to cover the surface of the beer. Crawling up the side of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium-intense, fruity fresh and citric. Sweet Peach and pineapple. Touch of Caramel. Soon overpowered by Citrus, Grape fruit and lime. Sour twist.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by a slightly stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is lightly bitter and lingers for a while.
I think this is the third Anniversary Beer from Willemoes that I have run into. They might be overdoing it a bit. Decent IPA - no more, no less.
