Copenhagen 24/4 2016. 75 cl bottle from SuperBrugsen. Red and pink label declaring that this beer has been aged in oak barrels.
Pours slightly hazy copper brown with an off-white head. Stable. Settles as a thin almost transparent layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is sweetish. Caramel, sherry and hobby cellar (a little glue and plywood).
Medium strong carbonation and watery palate. Lively texture,
Flavor is quite sugary sweet. Light bitterness in aftertaste. Lingers for a bit.
Reminds me of long rainy afternoons fumbling with my glue and my model airplane. Such sweet memories you get from a beer that smells like glue and plywood.
