This year, you will be treated to a Christmas porter. Dark brown in color, spicy on the nose and warming in the mouth. A juicy, silky porter with notes of chocolate, coffee and the warm spices of Christmas. A special yeast blend ties it all together for a complex and balanced taste experience.

Copenhagen 10/12 2015. 66 cl bottle from Fakta, Frederiksborgvej, Kbh. NV. Some guy with a funny hat from the renaissance on the dark turquoise label.
Pours opaque dark brown with a tan head. Stable. Settles as a flimsy layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is sweetened coffee, raisins and a little alcohol. Brown sugar and toffee.
Soft carbonation and oily palate. A bit viscous, creamy, almost flat texture.
Flavor is sweetish at first with raisins, chocolate and caramel. Followed by a quite pronounced coffee bitterness.
Fine Christmas porter - but it won't make me wear a funny hat.
