100% lambic-cultured saison brewed with merlot grapes, red raspberries and cocoa nibs. 64 oz. growler poured into a snifter. Light pink body. Small white head. Smells strongly of yogurt. Offensively so. Like spoiled milk. Taste has some fruitiness and then the same spoiled milk flavor. The cocoa nibs lend quite a bit of flavor and some bitterness. Low carbonation. Light body. Smells worse than it tastes, but it's still pretty gross.

One of the most unique sour beers I have ever had. I don't get any of the cocoa nibs, but it smells like cow poop and dirty pig pen and I love it. Reminds me of my childhood summers spent in rural Galicia, Northern Spain.

The cocoa nibs add a really unexpected flavor to this saison (which isn't very saison-like) but I think it works well. Not picking up too much raspberry flavor either, but overall it's tasty.

I get more grape & raspberries in the nose. The combo of cocoa, merlot grapes & raspberries with some funk is a very weird combo which could be interpreted as a yogurt like experience. Finishes with a mild tartness. I feel like this beer would have really benefited from some time in oak.
