On tap at Bullfrog Brewery in Williamsport, PA.

This smells like red wine, lemon, red grapes, and some light spice.

I wish the saison behind the grape addition was more apparent in this one. However, the fruity funk on this one is pretty nice, with a tart and sharp grape character, some red wine, and a bit of jam.

This is medium bodied, crisp, and relatively clean, with not a ton of acidity, at least compared to what Bullfrog usually has in that department.

This is pretty solid stuff, but not the best fruited sour that I've had from Bullfrog.

Poured into a narrow pint glass: color is gold, transparent, no real head, some thin bubbles with some rousing - etched bottom ring helps to bring some effervescence.

Smell is a little thin at first, with some warmth and rousing and just before quaffing you get some notable pilsen like malt, light fruitiness, grape notes, tart sourness.

Taste is thin malt, light biscuit note, pleasant grape must providing fruitiness with malt fermentation, very subtle spice note - light, tart, subtly sweet.

Mouthfeel is light carbonation, low/mod sweetness, puckering sourness, but not overdone, a little drying.

Overall this comes together well after some agitation and warming - light, tart, subtle sweetness, drying in the end.
