Wild Apple Ale

Drawing inspiration from Stephen King's Dark Tower, this previously purely fictional beverage has opened the creative minds of cider makers and brewers alike. Our version is 51% malt/wort and 49% hard cider.

5 oz mini-snifter pour at the brewery. Pours a clear light yellow with a small off-white head. Aroma and flavor feature tart apples on top of a slightly funky golden sour ale base. Mouthfeel is off-dry and nicely carbonated. Overall it's a delicious sour apple ale.

Poured into a tall Pilsner glass, color is straw, not clear, head is off white with fine bubbles, presents very thin at 1/8 inch the dissipates to nothing.

Aroma is truly graf/saison esque- blend of base malt and cider, thought not over
Powering from either.

Taste is similar, waffling back and forth between base malt saison and light tart cider, light bitterness follows, but limited hop flavor.

Mouthfeel is moderate carbonation, moderate sweetness, drying bitterness.

Overall a really nice blending of styles and exceptionally drinkable, light malt and tart cider qualities intermixing throughout.
