First had: on tap at their brewpub

I thought this would be bad, but it actually was pretty good, considering apple beers can be (and often are) disasters. Clear copper pour, with a small bubbly head; minimal retention and lacing. Aroma of toasted wheat and light apple juice. The apple was obvious up front in the taste, but it wasn't overdone or overbearing, just sort of a juicy essence that complimented the wheat malts. I didn't really get much of a "farmhouse" aspect, as the description promised. Body was light and crisp. It would be a lot to commit to a whole glass of this, but overall it was pretty solid.

Enjoyed on tap at the brewpub. Surprisingly good and unique. Tart, funky aroma, a big mouthfeel from the complexity going on with yeast and wheat and fruit. Nice drinkability. Well made.Better than average for the style. Natural fruit sweetness, and not too sweet.
