Thanks to tenderbranson69 for sharing this w/ ba Carlos and me, enjoyed chilled from a mug.
The desciption on the Bullfrog website describes it as a 'farmhouse pale ale' whatever that is...
A dark amber with light hazed and fluffy thin white head. The smell is spicy and herbal with a mild malt and slight hint of wild yeast in the nose which brings out a light berry aroma. The feel is very good with some light maltiness and subtle spiced element with a yeast texture that is lively with a mostly dry finish and moderate bitterness keeps it balanced.
I like the malt flavor which adds a touch of toasted grain and the yeast gives a mild fruity tinge along with the flavor of the hops which seem more herbal then spicy but have some subtle fruity notes also and the finish had a dry brett influenced qualtity with an overall refreshing quality in general - a very good beer I would not have guessed the abv is 6.5%
