Not 100% what the name of this was but the sever did say it was a new Uncle Red's seasonal I believe.
I am a big fan of Rouge's Chipotle Ale I was please when our server asked our table if we wanted to sample something new with jalapeno.
The samples showed up in 2oz glases so no real head to be seen. The aroma was of you basic american lager with a light tickle of jalapeno on the nose. The initial taste was light and crisp then finished with the nice spice from the jalapeno's. It wasn't overpowering but you knew it was there. I personally like anyting with some spice in it but everyone else at the table didn't seem to enjoy. It finished nice and crisp with the spice sticking around for just a few seconds to remind you of what you just had.
If I have the name wrong someone please correct me. I should've got more info at the time and there is nothing on the website I could find to back this up. Not 100% sure what style to put this in either.
If it wasn't for their IPA I would've prob. got a pint but why go a stray from something so good. Would be great with some fajitas.
