Clear golden color, medium-sized white head. Aroma of malt, grain, and hay. Taste is mostly malty too, but is still somewhat refreshing. Drinkable for hot days.

Poured from fridge temp. Pours a golden yellow with little head. Nose is wheat, crisp malts, honey, grass, and apples. Really nice. The taste is like candy. Very sweet and delicious. Candy, grass, wheat, oranges, and a slight hoppy note on the back end. Really enjoyable beer. Crisp and refreshing. I will definitely grab some more.

Pours a clear golden color with very little head, but active bubbles rising through the beer
Smells a little skunky, grassy, light cracker
Taste is grainy, grassy, muddled for the style.
Not a great beer....it doesn't taste balanced, not great execution. You could do worse, but I wouldn't drink by choice.

Having no expectations, Stare Misto (Old Town) was a pleasant surprise.
It Looks average for the style, a clear golden. Aromatics are mostly malted but some of it seems to have been smoked or over-roasted; and this adds distinction. Taste is even better: refreshing, balanced with just enough hops; yet the malt becomes full-on as it warms. Initial Feel is a bit too dry and carbonated for me, but that improves as Misto warms.
There is no reason not to have this beer again.

A: The beer is crystal clear golden yellow in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a half finger high bright white head that quickly died down, leaving lacing on the surface and a thin ring of bubbles around the edge of the glass.
S: There are light aromas of biscuit malts in the nose along with some hints of grassy hops.
T: The taste has flavors of grainy malts and is accompanied by a light to moderate amount of bitterness. As the beer warms up, the taste becomes a bit more bready and sweeter.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied, clean and dry on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is easy to drink and has some refreshing properties. It’s quite good compared to other beers in the style.

Pours crystal clear, golden (all right yellow) in color with fluffy white head. Aroma is light. Refreshing with a touch of hops - a mix of citrus, grassy and flowery notes. Taste is crisp and refreshing. Aftertaste is a bit dry.
Very drinkable beer. Excellent during hot summer days. Enjoyable. I found it to be well made especially on the background of sad monotony of Ukrainian beer. It was widely available during my trip to Lviv.

"Stare Misto Lager Beer" "EXPORT" 4.8% abv, BBD: 05/02/11
"The most popular beer from PPB.
The leader of sales. Classic European premium lager is brewed in the restored 16th century recipe. "
The name translates as "Old Town" or "Old Village".
Deep saturated golden orange color. Typically thin and rapidly receding foam, though cheated by swirling the last bit vigorously and pouring. White foam has a soft, fine texture and evaporates quickly. Languidly rising carbonation trails.
Faintly smoky sweet hammy aroma. Wait, what? Yes, there's a vaguely sweet smoke that comes across as ham oddly enough.
Similar flavor, some porky sweetness, husky grain, and possibly corn. Some toasted malt sweetness, simple with some mild smoke and hearty maltiness. Actually very smooth, medium bodied for a lager. This is pretty damn decent. Unexpectedly good, and thankfully clean with no off flavors. Will drink again.
