Half cask at brewery. Clear amber pour, skin of tight head, lacing. Light, sweet, malty aroma. Taste is caramel, toffee, brown bread. Creamy and smooth.

Hand pulled pint in my local 'Spoons' on 13th Aug 2012.
Clear and clean amber body with a creamy head that produced some good, strong lacing on my UK pint sleeve glass.
No great aromas, mix of caramel maltiness and some floral hops: the taste followed those traits with the hops coming to the fore as the mouth dried. This was one of the smoothest cask ales I've had for a long time: could have been a nitro-keg cream flow beer (is this a good thing or a bad thing?). I had this at the brewery years ago, but don't remember it being a smooth/slick tasting brew.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
