Poured from Growler into Chalice.
A. Very little head when poured. Little bit of lacing. Nice golden orange color.
S. Light fruit, pears, grapes, apricot. Some spices. Belgian yeast aroma. Very little alcohol on the nose.
T. Sweet, fruit, sweet malt, spices, belgian yeast, candi sugar. A little hop bitterness. I like Tripels on the sweet side, and this one was right up my alley.
M. Medium bodied. Medium/low carbonation. Just a bit of lingering sweetness, but dry overall.
D. Very drinkable. I suffered the consequences of putting down the whole growler in one sitting. I prefer a sweeter side to Tripels so this one was right on par for me. Thanks to my wife for bringing back a growler for me from her trip to Fayetteville. Impressed with my first beer from Hog Haus!
