Poured in a spiegelau beer tasting glass

A: Nice golden color, rapidly fading white head

S: Discreet, but nice pefumes of honey, flowers.

T: Pretty light body, good carbonation, short... Lacks personnality, especially at this price point.

O: Nice, but quite average at the same time. Too pricey, wouldn't buy again.

Bottle from Broue HAHA. From notes.

A - Poured with a 3 finger creamy wihite head on a golden body with good carbonation. Bright. Good lacing and half finger of retention.

S - Grassy and earthy with some lemon and a bit of barnyard. Lemon candy.

T - Lemon, biscuits, sweet malts and a little tartness.

M - Good carbonation, light body, sweet and slightly hoppy finish.

O/D - A pretty solid session beer but nothing spectacular outside that spectrum. It does what it needs to do, and it does it quite well. Slightly mild but for the ABV it's alright.

Bottle shared by Vito at the Copper Mine last weekend.

Appearance: Pours a cloudy dirty honey with a 1 finger white crown that displays moderate retention and lace.

Smell: Tea, honey, flowers, and a touch of smoke. Unique.

Taste: Same as nose but with a small hop bite!

Mouthfeel: Medium body with good carbonation makes for a crisp brew.

Drinkability: Sessionable.

A- Pale yellow. Weak head. Tiny particles all over

S- Bottle sniff gives some LME. Kind of cold right now, all I get is malted barley. A little sour apple. Warmer us the same thing just easier to pick out.

T- Just bitter malt at first while it was pretty cold. Some dirty apple.

M- High carbonation. Very full. Very dry. It's all super and the best part of this brew.

D- Very good. I don't really like the taste but I enjoyed drinking it.

Another slightly expensive yet unimpressive beer from this brewery. There's a really special aura around they're beers but it just doesn't quite deliver.

Pours very light orange with zero head and no lacing. Looks like an adjunct lager but flat. Smell is weak but kind of bready and malty. Taste is palatable but quite boring. I would call it very clean tasting. Mouthfeel is good body wise but undercarbonated. Drinkability is good but it's quite the boring beer.

Bottle courtesy of Hogtownharry. Decants from the bottle, a pale and sparkling gold with a one finger of white fizz. The aroma is sugar and grains with shortbread cookies and straw, and hints at yeast. The flavour profile is surprisingly sweet and shows grains, bread crust, fruit and doughy accents. Average carbonation and a decent finish with a bit too much residual sugar. Standard stuff. Thanks Harry!

acquired in a trade from northyorksammy thanks! Pours a light gold with a large head. Very appropriate for the name. Smell is malty pretty faint. Taste is clean malt. Like other reviewers, I'm suprised it's an ale. Nice mouthfeel. A very drinkable beer. Just not very interesting.
