Appearance: clear amber in color with a 1" head that lasts a while. Nice lacing paints the glass during the session. Low carbonation.
Smell: caramel and ripe fruit provides a sweet overall aroma.
Taste: big bready profile with caramel, red apples, ripe black plums, and a mild bitterness tries to balance out the sweetness here.
Mouthfeel: medium bodied beer. Lightly crisp from start to finish. Aftertaste is short-lived and leaves the mouth quickly.
Drinkability: easy drinking beer here, but it needs a bit more bitterness. This was the Barrel 28 brewers special off the menu, so it is not a standard offering.
