Pours a light coppery color with a light to moderate head with lacing. Classic malty doppelbock taste. Amberg should be proud of this doppelbock! Prost!

Served on tap in a stone beer krug at Bruckmuller brewery/restaurant in Amberg.
A- Deep Amber, Thick pillowy head, plenty of retention and lots of lacing.
S- Slightly malty, earthy and noticable hops.
T- Slightly bready, very earthy and herbal tones. Distinct hops and hint of alcohol.
M- Medium bodied, mildly carbonated.
D- This is a pretty good beer, the taste masks the alcohol well, but it sneaks up on you.
