22 ounce bottle into pint glass; no bottle dating, but is a recent release. Pours hazy golden orange color with a 1-2 finger dense off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of lightly tart lemon, pear, apple, light banana, black tea, pepper, clove, wheat, biscuit, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/earthy yeast, lemon/tea spice, and bready malt notes; with good strength. Taste of lightly tart lemon, pear, apple, light banana, black tea, pepper, clove, wheat, biscuit, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Fair amount of earthy/yeast spiciness and light fruit tartness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, pear, apple, light banana, black tea, pepper, clove, wheat, biscuit, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice complexity and robustness of fruity/earthy yeast, lemon/tea spice, and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/yeast spice/tartness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, fairly creamy/bready, and lightly acidic/sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming lingering after the finish. Overall this is a damn nice fruited wheat beer style. All around great robustness, complexity, and balance of fruity/earthy yeast, lemon/tea spice, and bready malt flavors; and very smooth and easy to drink for the ABV. This is advertised as a shandy, but is more of a witbier with added lemon and tea flavors. A very enjoyable offering.
