Cool design on the can, creepy and trippy at the same time. Pours a reddish amber color with a big, soft tan head. Nose is balanced, with an impressive sweet malt backbone. Medicinal hops and black licorice join an interesting nose.

Satisfying and complex flavor, but appropriately moderate in intensity, this features dark fruit, smoked meat, wood, molasses, and pine oil. Thin texture really lets the complexity sit on the tongue.

Very enjoyable ESB, which you don't see enough of the last few years.

Had this on the cask at Ale House Columbia. 12 oz. pour in a snifter.
