A - Orange amber colored, clear thin head.
S - Bowling alley funk, musky dry wood, damp closet, hop dryness, some citrus.
T - Definitely plenty of citrus present in the flavor profile. Grapefruit forward, orange, floral tastes. Dry hop spice also.
M - Semi dry throughout, tingling carbonation and a crispness to the feel.
O - An IPA with plenty of citrus. Drinks like a 2IPA.

On tap at Big Hunt.
Pours a very hazy dark orange amber color. Decent white head at the top.
The aroma is very sweet. The caramel malts dominate the hops altogether on the smell, leaving you to wonder about the level of bitterness.
The taste is sweet. Honey is there, but like a candy dissolved in your beer kind of way. Honestly the after taste is off putting. The hops are very late to the party, and the party is pretty much over.
The mouthfeel is ok, very heavy, would be a good winter offering.

I had this on-tap at Max's. Served in a sample glass.
Appearance: The beer pours a clear amber color with a layer of fluffy white head that leaves a ring around the pour.
Smell: Fresh bread with a slightly off note, kind of reminds me of feet. In the finish I'm getting some citrus hop bitterness. The off note isn't great, but it doesn't overwhelm.
Taste: Not much of the off note that showed up in the smell. Still more malt forward than I would have expected. Bready with some mild caramel. The citrus hops do show up in the finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium body with tingly carbonation and a dry finish.
Overall: This one wasn't my thing. I didn't think it was bad by any means, but I don't need more.

On tap at Maxs. Enjoyed with Jay and the guys from Dawsons. This is a collaborative citra hopped IPA brewed with honey by Oliver's and Dawsons.
Pours a clear dark orange with a large cream colored head. Aroma and flavor are sweet, dominated by flowery honey and caramel malt overpowering most traces of the Citra hops and associated bitterness. Smooth medium thick body with soft carbonation. No real complaints here, but this is a little too sweet and lacking in hop presence to be something I'd return to (though I was told this keg didn't live up to previous).

A - Served with a clear, burnt orange body with a bubbly, off white head...the head fell to a small ring of bubbles and left some lacing
S - The nose imparts a sweetness to it from the honey...the hops are mild but they do showcase a citrus aroma also adding to the sweetness
T - On the palate, this beer is very mellow...the blossom honey is really cutting back on the bitterness and is adding a lot of sweetness...some caramel lingers in the background...the hops do show themselves towards the end providing a quick bitterness that shines through...some citrus can be picked up during this point
M - Medium bodied...smooth, higher level of sweet but never becomes cloying...slight lingering bitterness
O - This leans towards the sweeter side of the IPA spectrum...there is enough citrus present to make it an American style...the addition of the honey was nice to mellow things out but it really cut back the hop bite

On cask and on tap at Max's today (this was the cask version). Almost seems pointless to add this to the data base, as Oliver makes so many different "one offs."
The beer pours a slightly hazy, copper amber color with fairly decent head retention and light lacing. The beer menu describes this as a dry hopped IPA with honey, and I certainly get plenty of honey on the nose. Otherwise, there's something of a malted vinegar aroma, that is intriguing. The honey comes through pretty promiently on the palate as well, though there's also considerable dry citrus, noticeable malt and hoppy bitterness on the finish, reminding one this is an IPA after all. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, and the low carbonation imparts a fairly smooth, fairly long finish. Alcohol is fairly well integrated into the flavor profile, though the 8% abv. seems about right given the mouthfeel in this beer.
This beer seems to be made in the Brit IPA style, which I guess makes sense considering the brewer. While nothing extraordinairy, it's a decent enough beer. Not sure I'd want to order it again though...
